DENVER, COLORADO: Interior architectural study of the 1901 Grand Staircase within the Colorado State Capitol rotunda. Captured with tilt-shift optics to maintain strict vertical integrity, the image highlights the intricate brass filigree and the unique "picture" patterns found within the rare Colorado Rose Onyx wainscoting. The transition from the Yule Marble floors of the first floor to the legislative galleries above showcases the 19th-century craftsmanship and the native materiality used to construct this National Historic Landmark.
